Old growth forests, free-flowing streams, wild mountains and coastlines are my main inspirations for creating my fine-art photographs. I use large-format film and I love the hands-on approach that is required to use it. It adds a considerable amount of craft to the art and has its drawbacks and frustrations, even after 20 years of experience. But when everything works and the beautiful finished image is before me on the light table I am once again reminded that photography with the big camera is the best way to capture landscape images.
In addition to fine-art photographs, I also offer photographic services such as art reproduction, product photography, assignments, and custom archival printing. In fact, I have worked for several of the artists present on these pages
