I am primarily a plein air painter, and much of my work celebrates the beauty and history of local agricultural communities. Most of my paintings seek to capture the unique geography, weather patterns, and natural resources of Western New York. Recently, however, I’ve created a large body of work celebrating the grand landscapes of national parks and the Philmont Scout Ranch.
This year I am proud to be hosting Westfield artist Trenton Lutes (Link to Trenton’s page) at the studio. In addition to sharing the studio every year there are many new works and limited-edition prints to enjoy at my studio. Whether you are looking for the sweeping vistas from my “Landscape of Change” and “National Parks” series, intimate wooded scenes from the“Hidden Chautauqua” series, or new works from this year’s “Painting-a-day Garden Series,”I always have a rich variety of works for the CLEAT weekend.
Visit my website for information about commissions, plein air painting and journaling classes, Art Camp and Chautauqua in the Spring Classes, events, and artist talks. View New works here.
